“This is my grandmother’s country near Madjalindy in the Northern Territory. In the centre of the painting is Koojala Billabong. Below the billabongs are all the hills in this country. At the bottom of the painting is Barroorr – a little creek. At the top is Madjiyi – a creek for my grandmother and grandfather. The other areas in the painting are small billabongs and little hills.”
