“This is my family’s traditional country”. Moonoomoorrem – the Keep River flows through the centre of the painting. The three main waterholes are – Throobgoorningem, Jungaljinum and Theridjgumbagoorma. Along the edges of the painting are the hills. Knowledge of place is an important aspect of traditional culture and passed on through the naming of key areas of country in paintings.
