He grew up in this country and used to live out in the bush. He roamed this country as a kid until he was old enough to work on the station. This is joowalinji (hills) country and darwirrinji (spring, living water) country. Billimack is a good water place, that's living water. There's one sharp hill called Jowagin standing up right near the spring. There are a lot of stone tomahawk there for the old people.' |
