'This is country near Rosewood Station way'.

Beerbee worked here as a stationhand in the 1950's and 1960's.

The green area in the foreground is the flat country. Thirsty Creek lies behind the flat country. This creek line runs all the way back to Red Butte Hill in northern Texas Downs station country, not far from where the Ord River runs into Lake Argyle.

The hill behind is Red Butte Hill. Behind Red Butte Hill is Nine Mile Country. Further to the left is the place where Major the Aboriginal bushranger was shot by Aboriginal trackers and police from the East Kimberley.

For many Aboriginal people Major was a hero because he killed many white men who had forcibly taken Aboriginal women wives.
